Classic arcade game action

How to play

• Make all of the ladders turn green and get to the exit in time.
• Avoid the bombs - they can roll down ladders too.
• Huge bravery bonuses for camping on ladders…but don’t get too brave!
• Bonuses lead to massive high scores.

Technical information

• WASD and controller support.
• You can mod the levels in levels.json
  
• Microsoft Windows compatible.
• Works in full screen and windowed mode. (F10)
• Python and pygame used to develop the game.

Download instructions

This build is unsigned, so you may see antivirus or SmartScreen warnings. That’s expected for indie games. You can install and run it safely.

1. You may need to turn off your anti-malware “download intelligence” to download the game zip file.
2. Download the zip file and unzip to a folder of your choice.
3. If LadderPanic.exe is quarantined, then go to your anti-malware software settings and restore & create exclusion.
4. Your unzipped folder should contain 3 things when you are ready to play:
   1. LadderPanic.exe
   2. READ THIS FIRST.txt
   3. _internal folder
5. If any of the three things above are missing,  delete the whole unzip folder and unzip again into a folder with the same name used in step 2.
